|Dum Dee Tum| An entry about the taxi surveying job, as promised to Victor. Yea~ my taxi counting partner.

Bear with me for the long entry.

Day One, Friday: Vic was late while I started the job without him.

I received a sms, from a long time no see rotaract fella, the fortune teller guy. Turns out that he is working at International plaza where Vic and I were assigned to, to do the taxi job.

Ahem, when Vic finally came, we decided to sit right on the floor next to the taxi stand.
It was more convenient, we get to see both the passengers and the taxis. It is just that we look like beggars on the walkway. Haha, and Vic’s home wear attire for the day was not helpful. Oh well, we are not complaining as long as we have a place to sit and do our job, and a roof over our head.

Lunch Break- We went walking in search of a Macdonald for wireless connection. And we found NONE.

Then, time passes by, boredom got to us:
- We started ogling at the working ladies passing by. Vic got high standards. At the end of the day, there were only a grand total of 3 who caught his eye.
- I glared at a male passerby and freaked the hell outta him with my red eyes. He literally jumped.
- We started smsing each other.

My silly boy came to pick me off work at 11pm, despite the fever. (Dear Readers, a lot of people are falling sick, so please take care.)

Day Two, Saturday:

A more eventful day.

We decided to station ourselves at the non-air conditioned section of coffee bean that overlooks the taxi stand. So instead of sitting on the floor and looking up skirts, we are seated higher above and looking down blouses. How very wrong. We continued the ogling. Blah blah blah. Vic tried to show me magic with his poker cards, but I saw through his tricks at his first attempt. Train harder boy~ He taught me a little about wines.

Lunch Break – We had two hours, so we went to eat at a shop inside International Plaza, which reminds me of the ramen shop in the anime . Vic tried to psycho himself into believing that his Mee Siam were ramen. Then we went walking around the area and found~ MAXWELL ROAD.

After lunch break, we went back to sitting on the floor next to the taxi stand. Time goes by and we start getting cranky.

We started singing… our songs went from old backstreet boys sort of songs to Chinese songs to Disney songs to Sesame street song to the National anthem to Happy Birthday. Then we ran out of songs.
And Vic would not let me gamble with his “Magic” poker cards.
And he forgot to bring his black vodka.
And He played "monkey bar" and "zero points" with at the taxi stand.

The cranky pair then tried singing for money. But no money went into the hat and people are like avoiding us.

Day Three (Monday):

We are no longer cranky, but we have gotten emo.
Thanks to me, the song 25 minutes is stuck in victor’s head.
Thanks to him, the Chinese phrase, “ta bu ai wo” from a song, is stuck in my head.
Thus, we are still singing.

We went to Coffee Bean for the morning, and then walked to some food court for lunch. Got some goodies from ShopAndSav.

After lunch, we got shooed away by the buildling’s security guard from our beggar spot. Hahah, that security dude got no sense of empathy. Anyway, we found another spot at the bus stop.

And we are still singing. I sang 25minutes for a girl at the taxi stand and she walked off. Snivel. Boredom gets people doing crazy stuff.

My silly koibito then came to pick me up. =)

Blah blah blah. We had wanted to leave early, but we received a tip off that there will be people coming around to do spot checks. So, we stayed on till eleven and submitted our work at the eleven floor~
